Scrap standard of winch wire rope
The steel wire ropes used in the hoist, including phosphate coated steel wire rope, galvanized steel wire rope and smooth steel wire rope.
| 1. Diameter reduction; |
| Diameter wear exceeding 40% should be scrapped, and the coefficient should be reduced if it does not exceed 40%. |
| 2. Surface corrosion; |
| When the surface corrosion of the entire wire rope is obvious to the naked eye, the wire rope cannot be used. |
| 3. Structural damage; |
| The whole strand of wire rope should be scrapped, and the wire rope with broken wires should be used with a lower coefficient. |
| 4. Overload; |
| Wire rope used for overload shall not be used. |
Winch

Hidden danger of winch
The winch has the advantages of large carrying capacity, stable and reliable hoisting, and a wide range of operating speeds. It is widely used. However, due to the lack of awareness and effective methods for the safe use of the winch, production accidents are often caused.
The hoist is not firmly fixed and the ground anchor is not firmly set, causing the hoist to shift and overturn.
There is no protective device on the drum to prevent the wire rope from slipping off or the protective device is set unreasonably and unreliably, causing the wire rope to leave the hoist.
The end of the wire rope is not fixed or the fixing does not meet the requirements, causing the wire rope to fall off.
The winch brake failed and could not be positioned.
Inaccurate positioning of the shaft end of the rope drum causes fatigue fracture of the shaft.
